Zama Ngcobo is the founder and managing partner of the firm. She specializes in construction and engineering law. Her other areas of experience include dispute resolution and technology law. Zama is known for her wide range of expertise in complex infrastructure, energy and mining projects. Zama has advised extensively in South Africa and in Angola, Botswana, Burundi, Gabon, Ghana, Namibia, Tanzania, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Malaysia, Korea, Columbia, United States of America, Canada, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Switzerland, South Korea Vienna, and Austria.
Her experience includes reviewing, drafting, negotiating and advising on the various agreements relating to the development, operation and maintenance of a project, as well as general commercial agreements. She has vast experience advising both public and private sector clients on FIDIC, NEC, JBCC, GCC and PROCSA agreements. Zama’s experience extends to dispute resolution. This includes amicable settlement, mediations, adjudications, arbitrations and superior court procedures. She also advises both local and international clients on the requirements of the Construction Industry Development Board. Zama’s experience extends to dispute resolution. KGOMOTSO MUFAMADI (NEÉ MOKOENA)

Phd candidate (Labour law), University of Western Cape
Kgomotso is a director specializing in labour law. Her other areas of interest include intellectual property, media law and constitutional law. Kgomotso gained her experience at a boutique labour law practice. Her experience includes drafting legal opinions, chairing internal disciplinary hearings and drafting of disciplinary outcomes, advising on the CCMA process, drafting and revision of workplace policies, facilitation and training on workplace policy, training of human resource staff for CCMA appearances. Her experience further extends to conciliations, arbitrations, and labour court litigation.
Kgomotso has worked as a legal researcher for former Justice Kate O’Regan and Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng, as well as the late former Chief Justice Arthur Chaskalson of the Constitutional Court of South Africa. She is a commissioner of the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration and is currently reading towards her PhD in labour law.

SHANTEL MUFANDAIDZA
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Laws (LLB), University of Fort Hare
Shantel is a commercial law consultant with vast experience advising in corporate and commercial law, infrastructure, and energy projects. She has extensively advised private companies on how to navigate CEMAC and OHADA Laws in Francophone jurisdictions, South Sudan, Botswana, South Africa and Uganda.
Shantel has experience in drafting and reviewing a wide range of commercial agreements. She has assisted governments and stakeholders in advising on and conducting training on capacity building and local content requirements.
Her expertise in dispute resolution includes representing both the public and private sectors in litigation disputes, tender review applications as well as construction disputes.
Shantel is a member of the South African Power Producers Association.

MATSHIDISO DIBAKWANE

Matshidiso is an Associate with vast experience in mining, commercial law, and dispute resolution. She has advised on various commercial agreements related to the development, operation and maintenance of mining and infrastructure projects in southern Africa. She has acted in various capacities within the mining industry, with particular focus on mining social impact research. Her experience extends to dispute resolution. This includes amicable settlements, mediations, adjudications, arbitrations, and superior courts procedure in South Africa and Africa at large. She was previously at Webber Wentzel.

BONGANI MEMANI

Bongani is an associate advising in commercial legal matters. His areas of experience include construction and engineering law, dispute resolution and corporate law. He has advised employers/developers, contractors, subcontractors, banks, project managers and mining companies and has gained experience in the energy, petrochemical and mining industries. Bongani has assisted clients on projects in South Africa, Botswana and Columbia. He has published various topical articles in reputable legal and business publications. Bongani is a member of the Golden Key International Member Society. He was previously at Dentons.

NYARADZAI MAGUMISE
